My Story

I am frequently asked what I do and the answer, "I'm a life coach" elicits a variety of responses - some want me to define it while others want to understand the process. Recently, I was asked two very interesting questions - "How did you learn to be a Life Coach?"and "Where did you get your experience?" The most natural answer would have had me listing my academic credentials, client testimonials and varied work experience across many industries.

But, on second thought, I am not defined only by my jobs. There is more to me!

I have the unexceptional occurrence of being born to a family of five. Youngest daughter of an intelligent, and conservative mother and a liberal Air Force officer father who had the ability to mould their diverse thinking to emerge as one voice.

A girl who was asked a million times if she had any brothers, a pre-teen who looked  like a boy (definitely had the strength of one) and a teenager who discovered that feminism and femininity could go hand in hand.

A youngster who was academically brilliant and disastrous, a sportswoman who worked hard and long and tasted many a failure before tasting success and fame, a young adult who broke conventions but stayed within the borders of tradition.

A wife who has restlessly and cheerfully trailed her husband across six cities in four countries.

A mother who experiences the exasperation, anxiety, laughter and harshness of parenthood.

So, that's Urvashi...

As a Life Coach Urvashi Sethi believes that each one of us has an energy and ability which we can tap into to achieve our optimum potential- may it be as parents, sportsmen, students, entrepreneurs, corporate executives or any role we want to play.
